Policy statement

Sumax Communication Limited will comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations, including those administered by the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), and with our clients’ environmental requirements, while working to prevent pollution and use resources responsibly.

Our commitments

• Manage electrical and electronic waste responsibly, including take-back of end-of-life equipment and batteries and recycling through approved recyclers, in line with NESREA’s electrical and electronic sector regulations.
• Never supply used or near-end-of-life electronic equipment as new.
• Reduce, reuse and recycle packaging materials wherever practicable.
• Promote energy-efficient products and solar and renewable energy solutions to our clients.
• Use energy, fuel and water efficiently in our offices, storage facilities and delivery operations.
• Store and handle batteries, chemicals and other hazardous materials safely to prevent spills and contamination.
• Respect the environment and communities at client sites and leave work areas clean.
• Encourage our suppliers and partners to adopt sound environmental practices.
